Today, we’ll journey to the breathtaking Glacier Gorge area of the park, where we’ll set off on an 8.5-mile hike, gaining 1,700 feet in elevation, toward the spectacular Sky Pond. This serene alpine lake is nestled high in the mountains, framed by towering cliffs and dramatic waterfalls, offering an awe-inspiring landscape. After soaking in the beauty of Sky Pond, we’ll return to our cozy basecamp, where a warm and inviting atmosphere awaits. There, you can unwind, reflect, and relax in comfort as we prepare for another adventurous day in the mountains.

Day 3: We’ll begin the day early, enjoying a nourishing breakfast before setting off on our adventure to Ouzel Falls, a beautiful 5.4-mile round trip hike with 984 ft elevation gain that takes us through a stunning forested landscape. Along the way, we’ll pass over babbling streams and lush meadows, with the sound of the waterfalls growing louder as we approach. If we are feeling up to it, we can continue on another couple miles until we reach Ouzel Lake.

Back at basecamp, we’ll relax and unwind before gathering for a celebration dinner, where we’ll share stories and enjoy delicious food. The evening will culminate with a restorative yoga session and a group reflection, allowing us to process the experiences of the day and connect as a group. It will be a perfect way to wrap up this unforgettable adventure in the mountains.

Day 4: We’ll begin the final day of our adventure with an intentional morning, starting with a peaceful yoga and meditation session at basecamp. This session will center and ground us, allowing us to reflect on the journey and set positive intentions for the day ahead. Afterward, we’ll enjoy a light breakfast and prepare for our hike to Gem Lake, a 3.8-mile round-trip trail, offering spectacular views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. As we make our way up, we’ll pass through lush forests and gradually ascend to the lake, which is nestled beneath towering rock formations. The area around Gem Lake is also known for its jumbled, rocky terrain, with massive boulders scattered across the landscape. The shimmering waters of Gem Lake are surrounded by these impressive geological features, creating a tranquil and reflective environment perfect for taking in the natural beauty.

After completing the hike, we’ll return to Estes Park where we’ll bid farewell to our beautiful surroundings. We’ll drop you off in Estes Park, giving you time to reflect on the incredible experience before heading back to your next adventure.
