Join us for a refreshing women’s hike on the Chavez and Beaver Brook Trail in Genesee Park near Golden, Colorado! This beautiful 5.1-mile loop is moderately challenging and perfect for springtime hiking. The shaded trail winds through lush forest, crosses creeks, and offers peaceful nature vibes just outside the city. Whether you’re looking to recharge in nature or meet new hiking friends, this event is for women who love the outdoors and want to connect through adventure.

Itinerary:
We’ll meet at the Beaver Brook trailhead at 10:00 AM. After quick intros and a gear check, we’ll hit the trail once everyone is ready. Expect about 3–3.5 hours on the trail including breaks for water, views, and photo ops!
What to Bring:
Sturdy hiking boots
Microspikes (may be needed for shady/icy patches!)
Backpack
Layers for spring conditions (base layer, fleece/light jacket, gloves, hat)
Trekking poles (optional but helpful)
Water (at least 1.5–2 liters) and snacks
Weather:
We hike rain, snow, or shine — unless conditions are truly unsafe. Spring in Colorado can be unpredictable, so come prepared for anything!
